We offer a fleet of well-maintained Jeep Wranglers and Jeep Gladiators, all equipped for off-road adventures in Big Bend’s rugged terrain.
No special license is required. A valid driver’s license is all you need.
Yes, you must be at least 25 years old to rent a Jeep.
We have only automatic transmission Jeeps available.
We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons (September-May), to ensure availability.
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
To secure your reservation, full payment is required at the time of booking. No additional deposit is necessary. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free check-in experience. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
All sales are final. Once a reservation is made, it cannot be canceled or refunded. We understand that circumstances may change, but due to the nature of our business model, we are unable to offer refunds. We encourage you to review your selections carefully before completing a transaction.
While we do not offer refunds, we are happy to work with you to find alternative solutions that best meet your needs.
Rentals are available rain or shine. However, in the case of extreme weather conditions, we may offer to reschedule your rental.
Yes, you must provide proof of full coverage auto insurance. Upon booking with Big Bend Jeep, our confirmation/welcome email will include instructions for providing the declaration page of your personal auto insurance policy before your reservation begins. We also offer two different levels of optional supplemental insurance coverage for additional protection.
You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during your rental period. Your insurance or our supplemental insurance may cover the damages.
Yes! Our Jeeps are built for off-road adventures in Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. However, please follow all park guidelines and stay on designated trails.
No crossing international borders.
No driving in areas marked as restricted or unsafe.
No towing or excessive water crossings.
Yes, our Jeeps are equipped with UConnect GPS to help you navigate the parks' trails and roads.
Yes, we provide trail recommendations and insider tips to help you get the most out of your Big Bend adventure. Please obtain maps from the following Big Bend National Park visitor centers: Panther Junction, Castolon, Rio Grande Village and Persimmon Gap as well as from the following Big Bend Ranch State Park visitor centers: Barton Warnock, Fort Leaton and Sauceda.
We currently do not offer guided tours, but we can recommend trusted local guides if you’re interested.
We recommend bringing:
- Plenty of water
- Sunscreen and a hat
- Sturdy footwear
- A first-aid kit
- A fully charged phone
We love pets too, but NO PETS ALLOWED. To maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests, pets are NOT permitted in any Big Bend Jeep. If evidence of a pet is found during or immediatley after your reservation, a $100 fee will be charged to cover additional cleaning and maintenance. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.
